About

Dr. Caldwell-Chu is a family chiropractor who enjoys caring for patients of all ages, from infants to grandparents.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dalhousie University, in Nova Scotia where she was born and raised.  Catherine moved to Toronto to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and after the rigours 4 year program she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  Her hands-on health care is made safe and gentle for all ages by tailoring each treatment to her patient’s needs.   

Dr. Caldwell-Chu has a special interest in caring for children.  While attending Chiropractic College, Catherine elected to take a supplementary one year internship as a chiropractic intern working with children with developmental/personality disorders, including autism and attention deficient disorder.  Catherine is continuously expanding her scope of knowledge and has taken several post graduate pediatric and prenatal seminars.  She is certified in the Webster Technique for pregnant women and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. 

In addition to caring for children and young families Catherine enjoys treating athletes and sports injuries.  She is an avid ultimate Frisbee player of seven years, playing in both Brampton and Burlington sport leagues.  She also enjoys basketball, yoga and running.  Dr. Caldwell-Chu lives in Oakville with her husband and baby son William. 

 Dr. Caldwell-Chu holds professional memberships with the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic, Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  She is licensed in Ontario through the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
